The first World War has seen major artistic events taking place in Switzerland, among them Igor Stravinsky’s encounter with Ernest Ansermet, conductor, and C.-F: Ramuz, writer. Their complicity has brought them to collaborate on several musical works. “The Soldier’s Tale” is one of the most significant works in modern music and theater history.
Michel Van Zele visits the locations where Ramuz and Stravinsky spent time together and evokes together significant speakers the adventure of “The Soldier’s Tale”. In parallel, he attends the rehearsals of a new creation by Alex Ollé at the Opéra of Lyon.
